9 month check up
Logan was back at the Doctor again today....only this time it was scheduled. He was not in the best mood as he had, a short lived nap at work with me and I had to wake him from his 2nd one to drag him to the Doctor. Even though he was weighed last night, I wanted him weighed by our favorite nurse Sue. And go figure there was a difference. Here are lil Lo Los new stats
Weight: 22.0 (75th %)
Height: 27.5 inches (25th %) he totally has me height...or lack there of
Head: 18 1/4 inches (75%)
Even though Logan is up there in weight and his Dad thinks that I over feed him, Dr. Ege thinks I am doing a great job on the food and coming up with some great meals. HA! Overall the appointment went well, minus the fact that Logan was furious with having to have his ears and nose checked. It is getting harder and harder to keep him still. Thankfully we had no shots today, just a little blood draw, which was fine. Dr. Ege looked at Logan's burn. It still has a giant blister on it, poor guy! But it looks good. We are waiting for it to pop, and if not we will have the doctor do it by Friday.

A burnt hand
Little Logan had his 1st major "Boo-Boo" today. He got ahold of the very hot hair straightener and burnt the top of his hand. Apparently he has his mother's pain tolerance because he cried just for a second. I think we were more upset then he was. We brought him into the Doctor just to make sure everything was ok. They said its 2nd degree burn, but that everything will be just fine. They lathered it up in cream and bandaged it up. The worst part of all was the placing of the bandage and the fact that he can't play in the bath or pool for awhile. The little worm did not like having his hand held down. Oh well.....we are just so thankful that everything is ok!!!!!!!

Weekend Fun
Jeremy and I have both been so busy with work this past week that we've hardly been able to spend any time with each other, let alone Logan. I barely saw either of my boys this week, so I was glad to have a whole day of family time. Logan had stayed over night at Grandma and Grandpa's so Jeremy and I could have "date night" on Friday. We were able to go and see the new batman movie The Dark Night and grab a bite to eat after. Saturday morning I hit some garage sales and found some great items for Logan and managed to only spent $8.00. When I picked up Lo later his 2nd tooth had finally broken through and he was a drooling mess. We just hung out at home all day. The weather was nice on Sunday so we packed up and heading out to enjoy the beautiful day. We took Logan to Medina Beach on Lake Washington where we hung out in the shade in the grass. We tried the beach out, but the rocky sand was instantly in Logan's mouth and he was chocking on it. Note to self........no more beach sand for Lo. Afterwords we went out to lunch where Logan fed himself his bottle and entertained us all.
Standing and playing at his new table.

After getting home from the beach, Lo went down for a nice long nap and Jeremy and I were able to watch a movie. When Logan woke up, we packed up and headed out again. Jeremy just recently joined a co-ed softball team and they were having their first official practice. Logan and I decided to tag along. We sat way the heck out in left field and played with Logan's new favorite toy.....wood blocks. We had a great time and enjoyed our family day very much.

Summer Evenings
During one of our evening walks with Logan, we stumbled upon a group of ducks at the park. There were 4 total, 3 male and 1 female. I found it rather odd that they were in such a residential area. I decided to toss them some of Lo
s sweet potato puffs and they swarmed us. I don't thing Logan knew quite to make of them. We finally decided to continue on our way and much to my surprise they followed us down the street and around the corner. I started to thing that we were going to take them home. Thankfully they got side tracked in some bushes and we made it home duck free.

A day at work with MOM
This summer I have been watching 2 boys 4 days a week in Bellevue. Michael is almost 8 and Tyler or "TT" will be 5 in 2 weeks. Logan usually stays with Grandma but I decided to take him along today. The boys really enjoy having him around and they are so helpful that it almost makes things easier. Today we went to the Bellevue club for tennis camp and Logan sat and watch for the whole hour. After that we came home and had lunch and a nap. It was so nice outside that we decided to break out the sprinkler. Logan and Tyler both had a blast.

Happy Birthday Drew
My good friend Stacey invited us over for her son Drew's 1st birthday on Saturday. Logan took a nice long nap on the car ride there. They live in West Seattle and the 520 bridge happened to be closed just when we need to go over it, but oh well. Logan and I had a great time. I was able to chit chat with friends and Logan was all smiles as usual. We had a BBQ, watch Drew open presents and had yummy cake. Logan's favorite party was the balloon. By the time we left we were both exhausted and Logan was a sleep before I even had my seat belt on!

Weekend at Mom's
Logan and I decided to spend the weekend out at my parents since auntie Karly was home from school. Went spent a lot of time playing in the sun. Which happens to be one of my favorite things to do, so I am lucky that Logan enjoys being outside as much as he does. We played with Auntie in the pool, practiced climbing stairs and played with the new toy that Grandma bought. Logan had a sleepover with just Grandma while Mommy and Daddy hung out with friends, but not before I locked myself out of my car while pumping gas at the gas station. All and all it was a great weekend!
This is what Grandma makes Logan wear while eat......it looks like a Pancho, but apparently he doesn't seem to mind.

A weekend get away
We headed over to Lake Chelan with our good friends the Neuenschwanders and Mimi for a weekend of fun and relaxation. We had great weather and tons of fun. The kids/boys played a ton outside in yard, while us ladies relaxed in the sun. We spent many hours at the pool where we were able to swim, play Frisbee and swing. At night we sat around and sipped cocktails and laughed at each others stupidity. We were sad to have to pack up the car and leave our friends to head home. We can't wait for another weekend get away like this. Here are some pictures of the fun times had by all.
