Shopping cart FUN!!!!

Logan and I decided to take lunch to Jeremy at work and then run some errands. We headed on over to Babies R Us in search of a specific vest and button down shirt for Logan. That proved to be a no go. I couldn't find the right sizes in either of the shirts or the vest. But we still had a good time looking around, and Logan enjoyed sitting inside the cart playing with all kinds of things.

Over night with AUNTIE B and UNCLE D

Jeremy and I had plans to go to a 50th surprise party for one of my best friends mom on Saturday night. Knowing that my parents were also invited I thought i'd talk my sister in to babysitting Logan for a few hours. Not only was she ok with this, she wanted him to STAY THE NIGHT. Which typically isn't a big deal for us, since Logan stays with Grandma and Grandpa often, but hes never had a sleepover with anyone else. Brie has been wanting him over night for awhile, so we decided to give it a go. After packing up Logan's stuff between our place and my parents, Logan was set. I had a LONG list of instructions for them, a bag full of stuff and my fingers crossed!!!!
Things went great! Brie checked in with us after Logan went down and said he had a great evening but was super tired......not a shock since he was woken up from his afternoon nap! Logan spent all morning out at there house and we met Brie back at my parents Sunday afternoon for the switch.
We are so lucky that we have family so close by that are able to help us with Logan and that he has no problem going to them.

Wake up UNCLE D!
Are you awake yet?

Playing with FINLEY

Logan and I spent the afternoon at Meghan and Finley's house. The kids ate lunch and then we heading out for some shopping. While the kids napped, Meghan and I ate a super yummy lunch and watch Sex and The City movie. I was totally stoked since I wanted to get it this past weekend and Jeremy had NO DESIRE to watch it....typical male. Once the kiddos woke up, they enjoyed some play time. It is so great to see them actually "playing" together. At one point, Finley had Logan busting up laughing. They played copy cat and follow the leader. It was SOOO cute!!!! It still is shocking to me that they are at the point of actually "playing" together. They are growing up so fast!!!!

And they're off......

Random

So we have been pretty boring lately. I have been spending my days locked inside our humble home with Logan dreading ever having to go outside due to this lovely weather. Between changing poopy diapers and picking up toys.......I keep myself pretty busy.
Logan is has mastered crawling....or his version of crawling. Apparently he is just like Jeremy in that sense, since he didn't crawl either. Since his on the move, I find myself triple checking to make sure the toilet seat is always down and making sure the hair straightener is no where in sight. Here are some random pictures of our growing boy being his cute, charming self.

11 Months ALREADY!!!

Happy 11th month birthday Lo Lo! Wednesday was Logan's 11 month birthday. I can not believe how fast time has gone.....It seems like just yesterday I was pregnant and waiting for him to come. He is no longer our little baby anymore. He is growing up sooo fast. He is crawling all over the place now and getting into everything. Logan and I enjoyed his "special" day just hanging out and having some mommy and Lo time. We ate lunch, played for hours, and went to the park. Now the count down in on for the BIG DAY!!!!!

Eating lunch
Playing with all the books on the shelf
Standning like a big boy in his crib
Swinging at the park
His "scared of the grass face" This was all he would do in the grass, besides sit. He would try to crawl and get freaked out......

Weekend Fun

I spent Friday night over at Mimi's house assembling Logan's party invitations. Logan spent the evening with Daddy while Mimi and I slaved away on the invitations. We were able to get them all finished that night, much to my amazement. Saturday I babysat all afternoon and into the night, so Logan had more Daddy time. Which was great! They played and played and even came and met me and the boys for some good old family fun at Chuck E Cheese. Note to self: Chuck E Cheese at 5pm on a Saturday=not such a great idea. This was Logan's 1st and like my 10th this summer. He really seemed to enjoy himself. Though it is geared towards older kids, there was a "Toddler Zone" that he played in. He loved going down the slide, face first and having Daddy catch him at the bottom.
Sunday was Football day, see we dressed Lo in is Hawks onesie and headed to the store for breakfast and coffee. I chose not to have him wear his Tatupu Jersey after the game last weekend thinking it was bad luck, but clearly it didn't matter. We spent the morning playing and drinking coffee and the afternoon cheering on Daddy's favorite team1 Grandma and Grandpa came for dinner and to play. We had a great weekend and love all the time we get together.

Head 1st down the slide....he did thid on his own!
Logan and Chuck E Cheese!

Drinking coffee with Daddy.....Logan's was caffiene free.....He loves a good Vanilla Bean Frap!!!!

As the table says....Blue Berry.....Lumpy Berry.......
Pulling himself in the tub....not a good nor safe idea...but soooo cute!
Our lil Champ Bailey.......Go BRONCOS!!!!!

Twinsies......we had to get Logan a jersey so he could match DADDY!

Another day at the PARK!!!!!

Logan and I spent another afternoon at the park. We were at Grandma and Grandpa's Friday and were planning on going to the park by their house, but it was lacking some key park qualities. Since Logan isn't walking nor climbing it is very important that a park have swings. This one did not, so we drove to our next destination....a park in my old old neighborhood on the plateau. And go figure it was under construction. UGGGHHHH! On to plan K. So we found another park in a near by neighborhood and called it good. However, this park did not have swings, but we enjoyed it none the less.

SO Many Teeth!!!!

Logan's top front right tooth broke through a month ago and I've been trying to get a picture ever since. In the meantime.......the left one broke through as well. Tonight while he was eating, I was lucky enough to get a few pictures. Isn't it the cutest thing you've ever seen?!!!!

The Zoo, The Park.....Oh My!!!!

We (or should I say I) have been wanting to take Logan to the zoo for sometime. With summer coming to an end soon, we thought we'd bite the bullet and go. Logan woke up Saturday morning in a great mood. We ate breakfast and played and soon it was time for a nap. Jeremy and I scrambled to get packed and all ready to go as soon as he woke up. After sitting in traffic for what seemed like forever (there happened to be a Husky game) we finally made it to the zoo. Now where to park........I mean it was a Saturday an all, but who would have thought that the zoo would be soooooo packed......apparently not me. Anyways we finally found some parking in a close by neighborhood and loaded up the stroller and made the trek to the zoo. I had really been looking forward to this as I had not been to the zoo in forever. We had great weather and a good time looking at the few animals we saw, however it was not nearly as exciting as I remembered. Logan was only a little bit interested in the animals, but was more so amused with all the people. Once we had had enough of the zoo and the many people, we heading back to the car and towards home. I decided that since it was so nice out, why not make 1 more stop....Pine Lake Park. And we did and had a great time. It was so nice just spending a whole day together as a "family" I look forward to many more trips to the zoo and days like these.

Logan pondering where to start......
