I'm Dreaming of A White Christmas!!!!

Merry Christmas to all of our family and friends! We hope you all enjoyed your time together during this very special time of the year.
We celebrated Logan's 2nd Christmas at my parents house out in Duvall. My sister Karly is home from college for a few weeks and Brie and Dan came over for the day. The morning started off bright and early as usual. Logan enjoyed a nice bath and a movie with Daddy. We had to tide him over with opening just 1 Christmas present while we waited for my Dad to get back from the store. Logan was really into opening his presents and did all of his own plus mine! In fact, I think he hid some as well. It was great spending time with the family. I enjoy getting together with them so much and wish we had more time to do it. We rounded out the morning with a great Christmas lunch and several naps.

Merry Christmas Eve

Jeremy and I both had to work on Christmas Eve this year....boo I know but I was off at 12 and was able to spend the rest of the day with my family. the weather still SUCKS around here and it is almost impossible to get anywhere. I had been driving to work for 2 days in a row and thankfully Bellevue was about 5 degrees warmer than the rest of the state and had bare wet roads. On my way home form work I thought I'd be grave and get as far as I could before calling for help. And I did which I am very proud of however, I will never drive in the snow again. I decided to take my chances and drive down Novelty Hill Road since I heard it wasn't that bad....WRONG. I couldn't slow myself down and proceeded to go 20+ down hill on a solid sheet of ice. I had never been so scared in my life and was so thankful that Logan was safe at home with Gma and Gpa. After that Logan and I headed up to the Townsend's to do laundry and hang out with Erin and Tony. Logan got to open a gift (super cute overalls and shirt) and eat lots of snacks. We finished off the evening with a great family dinner made by my sister and mom and headed to bed early. I think this was the 1st year in 26 years that I didn't rush down the stairs at 3am to see what Santa left me. These days its all about sleep for me.

All I want for Christmas......

is to walk! Logan has become quite adventurous in the walking department and is taking more and more steps each day.

Snow Day

The winter storm of 2008 finally hit early this morning and didn't let up until around 3. Logan has been at Grandma and Grandpas for a week now. And I have been there on and off. Last night Auntie Brie stayed too and we planned on riding to work together this morning. Great idea I know however the roads were awful. Major roads and freeways we'd take to get to work were closed and we decided to stay put. We enjoyed 10 minutes outside with Logan. He was kinda unsure about the snow. He really like to look at at and eat it....just the white snow of course.....but didn't some much enjoy actually playing in it. I guess thats ok considering he was in his pjs. Dear Santa please bring Logan some snow pants and boots.......

So Logan has been taking several steps lately and I am having the hardest time getting it on film. Friday night he took 12 steps! Yes I said 12, and saturday he took at least 20 without stopping. However, I am never able to catch him doing it on film. So here is a little snipit of our boy walking.

Krueger Family Christmas

Every year the Krueger's (my moms side of the family) get together on Christmas Eve. We alternate between houses ever year and always have a great time. We have great food, good company and tons of fun spending time with each other. Over the years the family has grown considerably and we will be adding 3 more in 2009 as 3 cousins are expecting babies! And it is harder and harder to get everyone together on the same day. This year in attempts to get everyone together we picked December 13th to celebrate Christmas. Everyone except Karly and our family in Colorado were going to make it and I was looking forward to it. The day was crazy trying to get cookies, pies and veggies ready as well as myself and a child. Logan went without an afternoon nap and was such a good boy. He had a blast playing with all his cousins and loved the attention. Jeremy and my Dad were there just for a short while and snuck out early to head down to Key Arena to watch The Cougs play basketball. Once again the Krueger family Christmas was a success and I can't wait for next year.

Friday Night at IXTAPA!!!!

Friday night Logan and I stayed at my parents house to get ready for the Krueger Family Christmas that was taking place the next day. My Aunt Kathy and Uncle Dale were up from Vancouver Washington and were staying too. We headed to downtown Duvall for dinner at our favorite family Mexican restaurant Ixtapa. It was packed as usual but we were able to get a table within a few minutes. We ran into several familiar faces and Logan enjoyed all the people and noise. He was perfect as usual and let us enjoy over an hour dinner. Before we left, Logan wanted to go and sit with Grandpa Dave and play at his end of the table. he enjoyed silverware, straws, and best of all a LIME!!!! Now Logan will eat just about anything and the lime was no exception, however the faces he made were hysterical but he kept biting. These pictures do not do justice to how funny this actually was. Uncle Dale was laughing so hard, he was crying!

Playing at Grandma and Grandpa's

Logan and I had a sleepover at my parents yesterday and had a great time. Logan had a blast hanging out with grandpa and Jamie while watching football and playing with the dogs. As gross as I think the dogs are.....Logan loves them! And it is so cute to watch him with them. Grandpa even has him giving them treats. Along with playing with the dogs, Logan was able to take a bath in the "big" bath. Which is always fun since it is twice the size of our tub which means plenty of room for splashing.
