Logan on the move

So Logan is slowly but surely moving around. He is able to go from a sitting up position to his hands and knees then to his tummy. We set "treats" out of reach for him to entice him to move. It works great!

Working with Mommy

Logan and I spent Friday morning with Tyler. We decided to load up Tyler's 2 wheeler and head to Clyde Hill Elementary to ride bikes and play on the toys. The school has the best play structure that I have ever seen. Both of the boys had a great time. Logan loved playing in the bubble. He stood at it for like 20 minutes. We met a girl there that was obsessed with Logan and he adored her. She played and waved at him and even took him down the slide. We had a great morning and are so excited that we have a new place to play at!

Tyler went down below to take pictures of Logan in the bubble

Biter Biscuit

Last week Grandma bought Logan a new treat to try. Gerber makes a teething biscuit called a "biter Biscuit" and Logan LOVES them! And so does Mommy. It usually takes him about 15 minutes to finish them so it is a great time killer. The only thing is that they are rather messy!!!!

Look at my hands mom
I just love this picture

funny face

Logan has started making this "new" face. At first we thought that it was a reaction to someting he didn't like, but he does it all the time. If you make the face at him, he'll do it back to you. Its too cute!

Fun times

Today our bestest buddies came over to play. It seemed like it had been ages since we saw them last.....Sad I know!!!!! The kids actually played great together and seemed to enjoy being with each other again. At one point, Finley was saying MAMA and Logan was saying DADA. It was too cute. We love days like these.

Sleepy Head

Logan's nap schedule was totally off today. He was so tired when we got home from the fair and went down for a "NAP" and 6:00pm. At 9:30pm this is how Jeremy and I found him sleeping. Isn't he soooooo cute?!

Evergreen State Fair

The Evergreen State Fair started this past Thursday and we thought that we'd head out there for a day of people watching, fun and great food. Last night we stayed at my parents so we weren't far from the fair in the morning. We planned on meeting my sister and brother in-law as soon as Logan woke up from his morning nap. Which should have been a great plan, however Logan decided to sleep longer than usual. Be the time he woke up and we battled the fair traffic, Brie and Dan had been there for an hour and a half. The people watching was great, as were the animals. I took Lo to the petting area and we were able to pet a calf. Logan seemed to enjoy it.

WE'RE BACK!!!!

We are back from our much needed vacation. We headed for Idaho last Friday night and the drive over was nice. Logan and I rode with Jeremy's parents, while Jeremy and his sister followed with the dogs. We arrived in Sandpoint after about an hour and a half drive and stopped for dinner. We ate a quite little Italian place where we were able to eat outside and had a view of the lake. We made the drive up the mountain after that and that are some breath taking views. We unloaded and settled in for a long weekend of fun and relaxation. We spent time boating.......this was interesting with Logan. He loved the boat but hated wearing his life jacket. Who could blame him though. He spent 2 hours in his crab floaty in the river!!!! Along with the boating and swimming, we enjoyed playing games and watching the Olympics. 'We spent another night in Spokane before heading home and Jeremy and I had a date night and left Logan with Grandma and Grandpa. Our trip home was amazing. We made great time and didn't have to stop once. We all had a great time and wish we could have stayed longer!!!!!
Oh I totally forgot about the major wind storm on our last night!!! I don't know how I forgot this but on our last night there, we had the hugest wind storm ever. So bad that the power went out. This ticked me off considering I was watching the Olympics at the time. I had the worst nights sleep. I spent all night worrying about Logan and if he was too hot in his room, and if I'd hear him when he woke. Luckily, the power was back on at 4:23 am and all was well again!!

VACATION........DAY 1

Vacation
Yesterday evening we left town and headed east to visit Jeremy's family. I spent the whole day doing laundry, cleaning house and packing to insure a departure time of 5pm. Logan arrived at 4:20pm and we anxiously waited for Jeremy to get home from work. We said our goodbyes to Grandma and left town at 5:06.....6 minutes later than planned but stellar time considering we are traveling with a baby in tow!!!! Within 5 minutes Logan was sleeping soundly in his new car seat. I thought for sure this would prove to be great venture across the state. Boy was I wrong!!!! Our 1st stop was in Ellensburg. We took Logan out of the car and played in the grass for awhile and then headed into Arby's for a good wholesome family meal. Logan was interested in any and everything that moved. Our little stopped ended up being an hour break. So.....once again we piled back into the car only to stop 20 miles ahead to make a bottle. Following that our little angle proceeded to cry for an hour. We finally made it to Spokane and to our destination for the evening. Logan was all smiles for everyone once we arrived, though that was short lived as he took a nasty fall into the coffee table and gashed his forehead. The night went well and Logan wook up happy, which was surprising since he went to bed 3 hours later than usual. We are getting all packed up and are heading to Sandpoint Idaho in a few hours and am praying that the drive goes better. Oh BTW I failed to mention that Logan has the worst cold ever and his top tooth just broke through........no wonder why the drive sucked. Needless to say Jeremy and I vowed that this was our last visit for the rest of the year. We hope the est of our vacation is relaxing and peaceful.

Auntie Meghan sure is Funny!!!

Logan and I spent the evening with Meghan and Finley and we obviously had a great time. Meghan sure has a way with Logan and was one of the very 1st people to get him to really laugh. He continues to think shes funny.....

A day at Grandmas

Jeremy and I headed out to my parents house Sunday morning to pick up our happy little monkey. Logan stayed over night with Grandma while I babysat and got a lot of scrap booking done. My goal is to have the scrapbook done through his first year by his 1st birthday. Wish me luck!!! I need it. Anyways we enjoy some great family fun which included kisses from "BABADADA" and playing at the table with coasters, playing at the couch with coasters, and playing, playing playing!!! We always have such a great time at Grandma and Grandpas!!!!!

Go DADDY's Team!!!

This year Jeremy decided to play on a co-ed softball team here in Issaquah. They had only 1 practice and play games every Tuesday and Thursday. Logan and I decided to head down to the ball field and see Daddy and his team in action. And action there was.........from the other team!!! Even though they didn't win, Logan and I still had a great time playing and watching Jeremy. Logan even did well with the yelling and clapping. Go DADDY!!!!!!

Out and About

Logan and I made the rounds today. Our 1st stop was in Bellevue to see Auntie B and the girls at her office. Then we went to lunch at Red Robin where Logan flirted with our waitress the whole time! She made the mistake of touching his had and he latched on to hers and wouldn't let her go. Once we finished, we headed to Kirkland to see Daddy at his office. Logan was exhausted after all this and fell fast asleep in the car.

Its Never Too Early to Start BRUSHING!!

Mine and Logan's new thing to do is brushing his teeth. This past weekend I was brushing my teeth while holding Logan and he was very curious as to what I was doing. When I was done, I tried brushing his teeth (all 2 of them) and he loved it. I went to the store to pick him up his very own and now we do it twice a day. Logan is every Dentists dream patient!!!

Bath Time Bonanza

One of Logan's favorite time of day is BATH TIME! I mean really, who doesn't enjoy playing in a warm tub for hours?! I recently bought Logan some foam letters to add to the toy collection and they seem to be a great hit. He loves "flicking" them and of course chewing on them, but then again he loves flicking and chewing on everything!!!! The best part of bath time is when Jeremy appears and disappears.....Logan gets a huge kick out of it!!!!!
