Ouchie Logan!

I think that Jeremy and I have been pretty lucky in the boo-boo department, minus the burn incident of 08. Logan has been very healthy and hasn't had an major illnesses. And we are so thankful for that. This past week however, we spent the morning at Children's Hospital for a scheduled surgery. We'd had it scheduled for awhile and I had just been dreading it. The thought of having your child put under is the worst feeling. I just dreaded the whole thing. I had no idea how Logan was going to react to this whole situation and I was just hoping he wasn't as scared as I was.

We arrived at Children's at 6:15am all bright eyed and bushy tailed....Seriously. Logan was totally awake and happy. We checked in and he instantly made friends with another boy 3 days older than him in the waiting room. Once we were called back, things still continued to go well. We talked to the nurses and the anesthesiologist and Logan's doctor. We got Logan dressed in his operating gown. Which I must say was the cutest thing I have ever seen. I am still kicking myself for not bringing the camera. Anyways....the surgery went well and was over super fast and when Logan was brought back to us from recovery he was as happy as a clam. I was shocked and not expecting this at all. It was as if nothing had happened at all. And thats how he continued to act the rest of the day and the days to follow. Jeremy and I both had Tuesday and Wednesday off and we had a great time relaxing at home and spending time with Bubba.

Special day calls for a special toy along with other special "things" Logan got from having surgery. As if he isn't spoiled enough!
