A BUSY Weekend

This past weekend was jammed packed with all sorts of activities. After work Friday night my mom met me with Logan and we headed to my Aunt Jenny's to make cupcakes for the "Tri-Cousin" baby shower the next day. Logan and I had a blast. Cousins Mogan and Makenna were there to entertain Logan and Aunt Jen and I spent some long over due hours catching up on life. Logan really enjoyed playing with the older kids and they were so great with him. I guess I know who I'm calling when I need a sitter....Stanley, Alex, and Morgan....kidding!! As great as they were I'm not ready to trust my sweet LoLo with them even to go to the bathroom! Logan was exhausted by the time we left he was out cold the second I pulled out of the drive way!

There is something about kids and dogs that I just don't get. Here are 4 kids in a dog crate. Now what is so fun about this?!
Saturday morning I headed down to my cousin Rochelle's childless to help set up for the baby shower. We have been excepting 3 new babies in the family and we are very excited. I guess I should say 2 since one arrived last month. Little Brooklynn is adorable! I was too busy chasing after Logan and making sure there weren't any candy bowls around I didn't get any pictures of her or even the chance to hold her! BOO! Anyways....The shower was great. It was so nice to have the WHOLE family together minus Karly and my dad. Logan got to meet his cousin Emily. And I guess I should explain that that is my cousin's daughter which would make that like my 2nd cousin once removed or something, so for the sake of it its Logan's cousin. They had their moments. I think he shoved her and she hit him with a calculator so all in all they played well. Then there was the incident in the bedroom. To make a long story short. The children decided the wanted to put on a play....good idea since 3 of the kids were under the age of 3. So they were in a bedroom and all of a sudden Logan comes out with this drooly chocolate mess. Somehow he got ahold of about 8 chocolate eggs and shoved ALL of them in his mouth. He was a mess! I wish I took a picture. Ugh it was awful. Oh well. So besides that it was great. Lots of good food, good conversations and good laughs. Oh and the horse Logan is riding on....well we bought it!

Logan riding on the horse......this will come home with us at some point.......
My little Stevie Wonder.....
Before she said "Emie get off" she is the cutest thing ever!

Logan playing with Big Cousin Morgan. His new best bud

Sunday was a bit more low key. We practiced eating with a spoon. I was surprised at how well he eats with it. We managed to make it to Gymboree only 15 minutes late. We headed to Bell Square to meet the Easter Bunny. I thought that it would be a good idea not to take Logan to Gymboree in a button down shirt, tie and sweater vest so I changed him in the car in the mall parking lot. Why I ask myself did I think this was a good idea?! Meghan....you would have had to change you pants after witnessing this. You too Mimi! You geez! One of my worst ideas ever. I am sure the whole parking lot needed to see and hear a naked screaming baby, but after 15 minutes we made it inside and met the Eater Bunny. Got a few good pictures and were on our way. Did a bit of shopping. I am obsessed with summer clothes for Logan. You know since its nice in all her I need to stock up.
So that my friends was our weekend in a nut shell.

Look Mom! No hands! Apparently Logan can use his spoon this way as well

Logan with the Easter Bunny. Kinda Lonely without his bestie Finley on the other side :(

What an exhausting weekend! Poor Logan was BEAT!
